ORPHAN SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM

Another project currently underway is our Orphan Sponsorship Program. Did you know there are 8.5 million people living in Haiti and 42.5% of them are children between the ages of 0-14? Nearly 70% of adults are unemployed. You cannot walk the streets of Port Au Prince without facing thousands of orphans or abandon children who have been sent out into the street to fend for themselves. In an effort to change these statistics, BMO has established a sponsorship program to help the many forgotten children. For just $20.00 a month you can change the life of a needy child. Through your generosity, these children will have the opportunity to learn and grow physically, mentally, and spiritually in a loving Christian environment. If we can show these orphans the love of Jesus by taking them off of the street, feeding them, clothing them, and making sure they are schooled and taught about Jesus, what an impact they will have on others. In Matthew 25: 40 Jesus says, “I tell you, whenever you did this for one of the least important of these brothers & sisters of mine, you did it for me”! God’s purpose is to bless all people through His people.
