Good morning Friends!

WOW, what a week on the mission field and here at home!! :)

Monday - The small team from Georgia arrived in Croix Des Bouquet to meet up with Gary . They brought a van full of stuff!! Tents, food, and other supplies! They were happy to see The ROCK after two days of traveling!

Tuesday - Everyone got together and made individual bags of food to give out as they planned to minister in Port Au Prince for the day. 210 bags of rice, 210 bags of salt fish, and 200 bags beans! However, upon arrival, they were told that it wasn't safe for them to distribute the food at this time. Back at The ROCK, countless children have moved in with us for safety and shelter. When I talk to Gary , I can hear them playing, laughing, and singing! It brings such great joy to my heart to know they are there!! Because of your generosity, we are able to care for and feed these little ones!!

Wednesday - They spent the day walking around the community passing out food and Jesus!! :D 16 people accepted Christ!!!! Later that afternoon, the water purification company came by. They checked the wells and pumps and took some water to be tested. They said we need a chlorination system. This system is ran by solar panel, PRAISE THE LORD we would not need gas or a generator to pump up the water!! This would purify the water 99.9% They said it would take a couple of days and they would get back to us. PLEASE AGREE WITH US IN PRAYER THAT WE WILL FIND FAVOR AND THIS SYSTEM WILL BE GIVEN TO BMO!!!!!!!! What a blessing this would be to provide clean drinking water to all the children and adults in our community!!!!

Thursday - We found out that 3 employees from the bank we use in Haiti lost their lives in the quake. We had long standing relationships with these guys and we are sadden by the news. Please continue to pray for all the people who are hurting due to the loss of a loved one. While traveling back from PAP, one of the team members felt lead to go to the PAP Airport . They drove right through security without a problem, they didnt even ask for ID. Upon entering, they asked for some supplies!! They were given 4 Shelter Boxes (value at approx $800.00 each!!) They were told to come back tomorrow if they need more!!! The aid relief workers were eager to give as much as possible to the little organizations. WOW what favor!!!! When the opened the crates, each one had a 10-man waterproof tent, blankets, pots, cups, utensils, tools, a fire kit with a small burner and more!!! They want to go back today, God willing, to get some food, cots, and whatever else the Lord has for them!! GOD IS SO GOOD!!

Friday - Besides making another trip to the airport, Kirk Bennett from IHOP KC is in Haiti and will visit The ROCK House of Prayer!! Time permitting, Gary will drive to Cap Haitian Airport to pick up a pallet of medical supplies that have been put aside for BMO. Please pray for safety and favor as they go out today.

Saturday - The team will start their journey back home. They will drive back to the Dominican Republic and spend the night. Then drive the rest of the way to the Santo Domingo Airport to catch their flt back to ATL at 3:20pm. Please pray for traveling mercies as well as for Gary who will make the same 2-day journey on Monday to catch his flight back home on Tuesday. He will be home for 2 weeks before returning to Haiti on Feb 24.

Menwhile, back at the house..... LOTS of food and clothes have been donated to ship to Haiti as soon as shipping resumes! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR GENEROUSITY!!! PLEASE KEEP IT COMING!!! :D

THANK YOU AGAIN AND AGAIN FOR YOUR CONTINUED PRAYERS AND SUPPORT - THIS IS FAR FROM OVER!!! THERE IS MUCH REBUILDING TO DO IN CROIX DES BOUQUETS, PAP, AND IN HAITI , NOT JUST HOUSES BUT LIVES!!

Please continue give as the Lord leads click on the paypal link. THANK YOU!!!

Because He Lives,

Linda

Good morning!!
I have spoken to Gary a few times in the last couple of days and everyone is busy working!! Friday and Saturday they spent the day clearing out a very large storage room to see what kind of items we have that could benefit the people in the community. Among many things, they found some clothes and some building supplies. The also put together lots of picnic tables so they can use them to feed the people. Others were busy starting the construction reinforcements needed on the building. Gary is considering the old school building with several rooms as a temporary shelter for our staff and children in the community. Right now everyone is still sleeping out doors which is not too bad if you don't mind being socked the next morning in dew. We have been praying and God has been merciful not to send rain at this time. But we have to move quickly. A few people went down today through the Dominican Republic to bring some much needed urgent supplies to Gary to help with the immediate need for food and shelter. They are carrying down some tents, tarps, personal hygiene items and some medical supplies. They are renting a van in the DR and will buy as much food as they can carry. They hope to arrive some time tomorrow. This food will be bagged and distributed among those in our community.

This morning in church under the mango trees, Gary shared what he felt the Lord laid on his heart a few nights ago, Matthew 7 - "Standing at the wrong gate, hoping to get to the right place, 2 roads, narrow and wide" He said 25 people gave their life to Jesus!!! PRAISE THE LORD!

This afternoon, he was able to go out and minister in the area. He also took another ride through PAP to pick up some supplies another Pastor friend was able to bring back from the D.R. Gary says "You can not even imagine what PAP looks like. Its "total annihilation", Croix Des Bouquet is nothing compared to the city of Port Au Prince"! He said he saw women just bathing naked in the streets, children walking around without clothes, make-shift "tents" made of sheets everywhere you looked! He said its terrible!!Reports say that approx 10,000 Haitians are being moved from the city to Croix des Bouquet because its just better right now.

Gary hopes later in the week, to take a group of people with him into PAP to witness and just have worship!! He would like to have enough food to be able to distribute there as well.

We would like to get a container of supplies ready to ship as soon as the port re-opens. If you feel lead to help, here is a list of much need items:

Food: dry, fast, ready to eat foods are best

Healthy snacks

Rice

Beans, Red or Black

Spaghetti

Salt

Sugar

Spices

Oil

Baby formula (powder)

Oatmeal, grits

Quart-size zip lock bags (to divide and distribute food)

No canned food because of the weight

Other much needed items are: BLANKETS, clothes, children and adults, shoes, undergarments, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, feminine products, bars of soap, towels, washcloths, medical supplies (such as bandages, neosporin, rubber gloves, masks, gauze, peroxide, etc), flashlights with batteries, cots, and sheets.

Larger items desperately needed are: army-size waterproof tents, a 12-15KW diesel generator, 3000 watt inverter with built in charger, solar panels, water purification system, plastic school grade picnic tables, 100 sheets of tin roof, tarps

Financial aid is still the best way to help right now. You can donate through paypal on our website @ www.bethelmissionoutreach.org Please pass this on to everyone you know.

THANK YOU!!!

PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR THE NATION OF HAITI!!

Committing everything into His hands,

Linda

As the sun rises in Haiti this morning, Gary is able to get a better look at the damage at The ROCK and surrounding area. He told me that the mission base has suffered structural damage. Yes it's standing but may not be safe. Everyone at the compound is sleeping outside under the mango trees (including Gary ) He said everyone is traumatized!! They will not go inside for anything!! The front wall has totally collapsed, from the foundation up. Our people went right to work to rebuild it before Gary arrived. As of now, he has not heard from his mom. He said he will try today or tomorrow to go see about her and bring her back to stay at The ROCK. As for water, "There isn't a bottle of water to be found" says Gary . Food is also very scarce. He will plan a trip back to the D.R. hopefully tomorrow, God willing, to buy food, possibly a generator and other supplies. He has sent for gas, so we dont know yet if that's available. His immediately plan is to get right to work, hoping to buy or rent (something very common in Haiti) some wood and tin roof to build a huge make shift tent to house children in the community that are in the streets, to feed them and provide them with water. We are the only ones in the area with a well, however it requires gas and a better generator to pump it up. Please be praying for a water purification system!! There is a US company in Haiti giving a few away and BMO was recommended, please pray for favor!!!!

Gary sounded so overwhelmed!! This is such a dire situation, I don't think any one of us can even begin to imagine what it looks like first hand, what we see on TV is just a glimpse. The last thing he told me was to send an e-mail and let everyone know that the need for financial help is crucial!! He said, "Linda, we need money, lots of it!"

PLEASE GIVE AS THE LORD LEADS!!! You can click on the paypal link. Several other ministry's have added a paypal link to their sites to help BMO and we are so very grateful to them. They have long standing relationships with us and KNOW that the money giving will ALL go straight to the mission field!

I want to say too, a BIG thank you for the hundreds of people that have already responded to this cry!!! May the Lord richly bless you 100 fold!!!! Remember, it is more blessed to give then to receive! YOU CAN NEVER OUT GIVE GOD!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED PRAYERS AS WE SERVE, MINISTER, AND REBUILD HAITI !!!!

Luv ya!

Linda Hyppolite

We were so shocked as most of you were when we heard the news of the massive 7.0 earthquake that hit Haiti on Tuesday, January 12. The images that have been streaming in are unprecedented! Since then, we have tried tirelessly to get in contact with our people at the mission base. We have called every number we have to no avail

It is hard to believe that just 3 weeks ago my wife, kids, and I were driving the streets of Port Au Prince, ministering in schools, hospitals and in the streets. We distributed 500 shoeboxes full of gifts prepared by friends and families of Bethel Mission Outreach sharing the true meaning of Christmas; Jesus!

On Sunday December 20th, BMO hosted their 4th annual Christmas celebration. The turn out was incredible; over 800 people were there for Sunday morning service. The students from Love of Christ School celebrated the birth of our Savior through songs, drama, and dance. It was amazing!!

For the past 8 months, we have been building a new school in the Croix Des Bouquets area. The construction was at 80% completion when the earthquake hit. A cement roof was poured on the second floor on top of the cafeteria the day before. That morning we talked to our mission director who told us that everything was fine, that the foreman did a great job pouring the roof and that he was satisfied with the work. Love of Christ school is a huge blessing to the community of Croix Des Bouquets and the surrounding area; 200 children attend free of charge.

Day to day life for most Haitian families was already extremely challenging, but now, one cannot even imagine the devastation and there are no words to describe their agony.

We are asking everyone for help! We need monetary donations. We need prayer. Please ask the Lord how He would have you help. This is a critical time for this Nation; we need to take this opportunity to share Jesus with them. God is shaking everything that can be shaken and we need to be busy doing His work!

Checks can be mailed to BMO, PO Box 391, Morrow, GA 30260
All donations are tax deductible.
